Implementation Guide

This Implementation Guide is a summary of different models for implementing C8Kids in your school. Click on the implementation model below to read a detailed description, or contact us to discuss even more customization possibilities. We will be happy to consult with you to achieve the best and most practical program for your school.

Students identified as in need of additional executive skill development, either through Cognition Reports from C8Kids or district referral receive sheltered time to access C8Kids online (either in the classroom or pull-out). Students can work online either 25 minutes each day or 45 minutes every other day. C8 Sciences will provide access to physical education resources and guides, and consult with PE and classroom staff to incorporate targeted strategies aimed at core cognition development. Staffing required: one special education or regular classroom teacher.
Every student receives access to C8Kids online, either in the classroom or computer lab, during the school day, 25 minutes each day, for at least 12 weeks. In addition, 15 minutes each day is devoted to a modified in-the-classroom physical exercise program that incorporate the targeted cognitive development strategies employed in C8Kids' full physical exercise regimen. Staffing required: the regular classroom teacher.
Every student receives access to C8Kids online, either in the classroom or computer lab, during the school day, 25 minutes each day, for at least 12 weeks. Students participate in their regular physical exercise program. PE staff meeting with C8 Sciences consultants to review the C8Kids physical exercise resources and guides, and incorporate targeted strategies aimed at core cognition development into the existing PE program. Staffing required: Regular classroom teacher for the computer portion, PE teacher for the physical portion.
Every student receives access to C8Kids online, either in the classroom or computer lab, during the school day, 25 minutes each day. Students receive the full C8Kids physical exercise program, in the gym, during three 45-minute sessions each week. Includes delivery of specialized equipment and supplies. Ongoing professional development and support from C8 staff ensures high fidelity implementation throughout the 12-week program. Staffing required: Regular classroom teacher for the computer portion, PE teacher and paraprofessional (2 adults: 20 student ratio) for the physical portion.
Flexible structure - students can receive access to C8Kids three, four, or five times per week, totaling approx. 2.5 hours computer time and 2.5 hours physical exercise time. Students receive the full C8Kids physical exercise program, in a gym setting. Includes delivery of specialized equipment and supplies. Ongoing professional development and support from C8 staff ensures high fidelity implementation throughout the 12-week program. Staffing required: One classroom teacher and a paraprofessional assistant (2 adults: 20 student ratio).
Full-day C8Kids Cognitive Training Camp. Based directly on the Beijing Model that increased student IQ scores by 10 points. Program lasts four weeks and consists of a mix of computer and physical exercises lasting all day. Students receive the full C8Kids physical exercise program, in a gym setting or outside. Includes delivery of specialized equipment and supplies. Ongoing professional development and support from C8 staff ensures high fidelity implementation throughout the 4- week program. Staffing required: One classroom teacher and a paraprofessional assistant (2 adults: 20 student ratio).
